NDT Inspector II - Military Veterans

Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a NDT Inspector II.
The hours for this role are 7:00am - 3:30pm
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
Key Responsibilities:
• Use conventional and automated radiographic equipment.
• Performs level 2 RT (radiographic testing) responsibilities as required.
• Maintains Level 2 RT certification.
• Performs NDT (nondestructive testing) Inspection of welds, forgings, castings, machined surfaces or other fabricated parts and assemblies in accordance with company procedures, customer codes, standards and other contractual documents to verify product conformance.
• Performs product and certification verification using special processing knowledge which includes but is not limited to the NDT processes.
• Maintains complete and accurate records of inspection activities.
• Provides practical NDT expertise to support problem resolution, monitors the condition of installed hardware.
• May perform process validations and process, system or product audits at local level.
• Performs all operations according to prescribed safety and environmental principles.oftware.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• NAS 410 NDT Level 2 RT Certification
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
• NAS 410 NDT Level 2 PT (Penetrant Testing) Certification
• NAS 410 NDT Level 2 or 3 Digital Radiography (DDA – Digital Detector Array)
• Associate degree with a technical discipline
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) experience
• Familiarization with Oracle ERP system
• Must have 20/20 vision corrected or uncorrected in at least one eye and average to normal color vision (4 to 6 responses Titmus, B&L or AO Testing machines or equivalent).
Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, specifications, written instructions and sales order requirements.
• Ability to maintain complete and accurate records of verification activities using inspection software
