Respiratory Care Assistant | Boston Children's Hospital - Military Veterans

This Respiratory Care Assistant will be responsible for: Monitoring and maintaining clinical and non-clinical supplies for Respiratory Therapy department and associated programs. Understanding clinical supply needs of programs, and collaborating with Administrator/ Manager to ensure equipment and supply needs are attained. Greeting visitors, exchanging factual information as needed, explaining hospital procedures, and/or relaying messages to appropriate personnel. To qualify, you must have: A High School Diploma, the ability to read and understand written instructions. Candidates currently enrolled in an AS or BS Respiratory Therapy program encouraged to apply. One to two years of previous applicable experience, with previous knowledge of inventory processes. Analytical skills to gather and interpret data in various situations. The ability to use PC?s or remote data terminals and standard applications software to read, enter, and check standard information, such as patient charges for equipment, inventory data, etc. 20- hour position available. This position is eligible for part-time benefits All shifts, especially evenings (2PM-10PM) and weekends.
