General Maintenance Worker - Janitorial - Military Veterans

We are looking for a General Maintenance Worker - Janitorial in Kekeha, Kauai. This position is for a General Maintenance Worker with the primary responsibility as a janitor for the site. This person should be a self-starter and shall be responsible for cleaning and keeping KTF buildings orderly by performing housekeeping functions daily.
Responsibilities
As a general maintenance worker this individual may be asked to repair equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge, but not proficiency, in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Work involves a variety of the following duties.
The Janitor shall collect trash, sweep, vacuum, wet mop, machine scrub, and refinish floors, machine shampoo carpets, clean kitchen and table counter tops; dust furniture tops, dust window sills, ledges, picture frames, etc.; wash desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, light fixtures, window blinds, waste baskets, windows, and walls; clean toilet bowls, urinals, toilet booth partitions; wash basins, mirrors, drinking fountains, acid clean toilet bowls and urinals; vacuum air vents; spray restrooms for insect control; The Janitor shall spray and knock down nests/webs for insect control in all administrative areas and service buildings.
Pickup of trash and other debris from the grounds (including roads and parking areas)
Other duties will include General Maintenance Worker tasks to assist other craftspeople.
Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Additionally, the Grounds Maintenance Worker may be requested to dig, fill and tamp earth excavations using a pick, shovel, and tamper; cut concrete slabs or asphalt paved areas, mix appropriate concrete and patch cut sections; cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate cable ways and other duties as assigned using hand tools or power tools.
This individual may be required to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Qualifications
High School Degree or equivalent.
At least one year relevant experience.
Valid driver's license.
Must be safety oriented.
Must be able to perform heavy manual labor including bending, stooping, reaching, digging, carrying, and lifting heavy objects.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
