In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Promoting Safety : By reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards, you'll help maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
- Ensuring Quality : Your adherence to standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures will uphold high standards and support the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) initiative.
- Optimizing Supply and Demand : Performing supply and demand analysis will help identify and address potential issues, ensuring smooth operations over the next 12 months.
- Data-Driven Decisions : Running simulations and analyzing the impact of planning parameter changes will provide valuable insights to improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Adjusting Plans : Monitoring abnormal demand and stock levels, and making necessary adjustments to planning parameters, will keep the supply schedule on track.
- Forecast Accuracy : Entering approved forecast adjustments and aligning them with the aggregate demand plan will enhance the accuracy of supply and demand planning.
- Ownership and Accountability : Taking responsibility for the disaggregate demand plan, supply plan, and inventory plan will ensure that customer needs are met effectively.
- Team Collaboration : Effective communication within your team and with support teams, along with participating in improvement projects, will foster a collaborative and continuously improving work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Reports any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Complies with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations. Engages in HSE training. Quality Follows applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures. Performs quality checks on system planning parameters (min/max inventory level, re-order point, upper/lower tracking signals, segments, etc.) taking action to support Plan for Every Part (PFEP). Delivery Performs supply and demand analysis, highlighting areas of concern for the next 12 months. Assists others in gathering and compiling information through primary and secondary research. Runs planning parameter setting changes in the simulation environment to analyze the impact to KPIs, and provides executive and detailed report of results. Monitors signals indicating abnormal demand and/or stock levels feeding the supply schedule. Makes adjustments to the planning parameter settings if approved. Enters approved forecast adjustments at the detail level to align with the aggregate demand plan. Takes ownership and accountability for the disaggregate demand plan, supply plan, and inventory plan that supports end Customer needs. Demonstrates the target level of proficiency in core competencies. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals. Teamwork Communicates effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements and career goals. Participates in improvement (quality, safety, process, material flow, etc.) projects.

Occasionally, you may need to use tools like Excel or Access for problem-solving, but the materials planning system will be your primary tool.
- Plan for Every Part (PFEP) : Apply PFEP principles to ensure the right parts are delivered at the right time, in the right quantity, and to the right place. This will guarantee smooth operations and efficient supply chain management.
- Inventory Management and Optimization : Use analytics and algorithms to determine optimal inventory levels across the supply chain. Develop inventory strategies that support the overall company strategy, not just individual business units.
- Materials KPI Management : Operate based on recent or historical outputs compared to organizational expectations. Assess gaps in supply chain performance and interpret KPIs to understand their impact on end customers. Balance trade-offs to influence KPIs while minimizing negative impacts.
- Network Master Supply Planning : Use statistical analysis and collaborate with other disciplines to align the supply plan with the demand plan. Balance supply and demand to achieve financial and service objectives while stabilizing and optimizing the supply chain.
- Valuing Differences : Recognize and appreciate the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to the organization. This will foster a more inclusive and innovative work environment.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
