Must have 2-3 years of Payroll Specialist experience in resume.

If you have experience in finance or payroll processing, we are interested in talking with you about a position in our company as a payroll specialist. You will be responsible for the day-to-day payroll functions. This position reports to the Payroll Director and must be a self-starter and independent, detail-oriented team member. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge with payroll taxes and deductions, have a solid understanding of the employee attendance procedures and leave arrangements, maintain payroll records, timekeeping system and personnel files. Make payroll adjustments, voids, direct deposits, audits and adjustments. You will also assist controller with accounting and administrative related issues pertaining to payroll reports. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices inclusive of local, state, and federal minimum wage and base rate of pay requirements as well as rest and meal break compliance.
