We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
Note: There are two positions being filled which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates' qualifications.
This role will support the Dominion Energy Virginia (DEV) Generation Rider & Project Construction Support Finance & Business Services team in achieving short-term and long-term business strategies. Responsible for performing the complex set of activities associated with analyzing, summarizing and reporting financial results. Coordinates the development of the budget, and financial earnings and cash flow forecasts. Provides analysis and presentation data to support monthly and long-term planning variance explanations. Interacts with multiple business units to reconcile earnings and cash flow variances, and to prepare Generation Rider regulatory filings.
There are two positions which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Support financial reporting, case management processes and strategic initiatives related to State regulatory proceedings for Dominion Energy Virginia, primarily related to Rate Adjustment Clauses or Riders, construction of new assets, and rate tariffs including subsequent regulatory inquiries, proceedings, and filings.
Establish timelines and coordinate all relevant data submittals needed to prepare DEV Generation Rider filings, monthly earnings forecast updates and Long-term Plan earnings updates.
Prepare long-term revenue requirement and related partnership Excel models needed for DEV regulatory Rider cost recovery filings and Long-term Plan earnings updates.
Maintain long-term revenue requirement and partnership calculations in the Company’s financial planning system, Anaplan, for assigned Rider projects, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and revenue requirement impact to customers.
Support budget submission, distributable cash forecast and other deliverables as required for certain partnership(s).
Identify and troubleshoot needed system enhancements and process improvements related to the semi-annual Long-term Plan update submittals.
Perform ad hoc financial analyses as needed to support daily operational decisions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Financial Analyst: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant financial experience is required (i.e.- financial management and analysis/accounting standards and practices).
Senior Financial Analyst: 5-7 years of directly related experience is required (i.e.- financial management and analysis/accounting standards and practices).
Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience towards the experience requirement. A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be rounded up to one year towards the qualifications.
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
+ Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
+ Excellent leadership; organizational; interpersonal; verbal and written communication
+ Teaming, analytical and customer focus skills
+ Strong analytical skills and a focus on attention to detail
+ Requires ability to work under limited supervision and direction.
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines
+ Demonstrated expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis; capital allocation; understanding of accounting, tax, regulatory and financing principles
+ Aptitude for continuous learning
+ Experience with SAP, BPC and Anaplan financial modeling tool preferred, but not required
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
