The purpose of this role is to lead the strategy for Enterprise Technology Business Performance management and reporting. The Business Performance Strategy lead is responsible collaborating with technology leadership to define the ET Strategy and Operating Plan measurement roadmap and developing ET’s capability maturity roadmap leveraging industry maturity frameworks. The Business Performance Strategy lead also has responsibility for managing the execution of ET performance management routines, including publication of monthly and quarterly operating plan performance management reporting.

The Business Performance Strategy lead is responsible for the design and implementation of quantitative and qualitative performance management solutions, as well as incorporating these solutions into technology management routines. Manages a team of business performance and/or business operations consultants to operationalize the performance management culture in ET.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Design the Enterprise operational and strategic metric roadmap.
2.    Direct and support content and reporting for use in leader Board of Director and Executive Management Reporting routines (including but not limited to Committee, Operating Council, Staff, Investor Relations, External Media).
3.    Manage the execution of performance management business routines, including documentation of results and business insights, as well as publication of the materials to ET leadership and stakeholders.
4.    Define ET capability maturity measurement programs informed by industry frameworks.
5.    Define ET continuous improvement processes and related performance and operational reporting.
6.    Develop a performance management culture for ET, including innovation exercises, performance management best practices, and uses of meaningful metrics for all teammate roles.
 

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1.    Advanced degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2.    10+ years progressive related experience in managing enterprise technology organizations or adjacent functions combined with overall 15 years progressive related experience in technology, financial services or related functions.
3.    Demonstrated experience in technology operations management, financial management, risk management, people management, issue resolution, influencing team members and other stakeholders, conducting difficult negotiations and managing to stringent timelines for project deliverables.
4.    Demonstrated superior understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs and policies.
5.    Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of complex programs and projects.
6.    Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous assignments.
7.    Demonstrated executive level verbal and written communication skills.
8.    Superior working knowledge of business matters, finance, planning, and forecasting.
9.    Experience managing a team of professionals, focused on business management or technology initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications:

1. Management or strategy consulting experience with large enterprise firms, preferably in Financial Services.

2. Content collateral or PowerPoint creation for executive management, steering committees, or similar senior management audiences.

3. Business writing for senior stakeholder communications.
