Field Service Engineer - Military Veterans

They are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a military background to join the team and support equipment installations and repairs at client sites. This role requires international travel for extended periods, ranging from 2 to 10 weeks at a time. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and experience with hands-on equipment installation. In smaller projects, you'll manage the installation process independently, while on larger projects, you'll instruct and guide contractors on the necessary procedures. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics is essential, as is the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during installations.

The technician must also possess excellent communication skills to effectively train and direct on-site contractors. This role is best suited for a veteran who is adaptable, reliable, and skilled at building rapport with a team while maintaining project standards. Location: Within driving distance of Canton, Ohio

Base salary, $70K - $80K, with 90% travel. Work over 40 hours per week is paid at an over-time rate of 1.5 and will average a minimum of 10 hours a week.
