Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Systems Analyst. The Security Systems Analyst is responsible for the support of all physical security systems including access control, CCTV operations, and dedicated alarm systems on a global wide spectrum. This position will also serve as the point of contact for training users to operate the access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

About the role

The Security Systems Analyst role will be responsible for ensuring that all Global Security Technology systems and equipment are installed, maintained , and functioning as expected. Global Security applications include Physical Access Control, Video Management System, and Personal Identity and Access Management System (PIAM).

Will work closely with the Project Management team to program and commission new security equipment globally. Working within Salesforce to open and resolve trouble tickets, including working alongside our IT Support Teams and Security Integrators to quickly resolve issues related to Security Technology systems and equipment.

The analyst will also assist various teams throughout Global Security in retrieving and reviewing video and running reports from our Access Control System to support Investigations, Audit and Compliance, and office utilization among other business requirements as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Work with Project Management team on configuration and programming of physical security systems including, Access Control and Video Management Systems for all new sites globally
  • Work with Security Integrators to install, program, commission and confirm new systems or major upgrades
  • Program and Print Access Cards for some sites as needed
  • Troubleshoot and engage with Security Vendors globally to fix both hardware and software issues
  • Work with internal IT teams to troubleshoot and fix offline devices.
  • Support Physical Security Systems team on onboarding and implementing new technologies to enhance Safety and Security throughout the organization.
  • Perform routine systems checks to ensure devices are working correctly and system is up to date
  • Conduct CCTV video review to investigate alarms, incidents, and other safety/security events
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to a wide range of clients, senior executives to external vendors
  • This role will be a hybrid position, working most of the week from an office with the ability to work remote a few days a week
  • This position will require some on-call work which may involve working nights and weekends to support our international projects and remediate high priority issues


What we're looking for
  • 1+ year of experience with Physical Security Systems, particularly with access control and video technology preferred
  • Good communication skills with a client service mindset
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Hands on IT technical experience - hardware or software
  • Genetec and AlertEnterprise experience a plus.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with security systems to include basic operations and management of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
  • Advanced knowledge of access control and CCTV systems
  • Detailed knowledge of physical security through experience, training, and certifications
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate client's business needs
  • Able to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Basic understanding of network technology
  • Self-driven and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within defined deadlines
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Identify and resolve critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Customer service skills by aiding customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field
