Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Contract Administrator (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for all assigned pre and post-award contract administration functions. Provides supervision, management and provide technical legal guidance to Contract Administrators (and support staff) within the Royal Commission Construction Department. Responsible for protecting the Royal Commission and Company interests in all contractual matters and ensuring policies are complied with as well as ensuring legal and contractual compliance in all contractual matters.
Reports directly to the Contract Administrator Supervisor. Provides support to the Project Managers and Resident Construction Managers. Interfaces with SRCM/AR and Senior Management personnel in establishing procedures and problem resolution. Negotiates directly with senior contractor personnel.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supervises, manages, and provides technical legal guidance to Contract Administrators on daily basis.
Prepares and or assists in contractual correspondence across differing sections or departments.
Initiates, prepares, chairs, attends meetings with differing internal/external parties to resolve disputes and or discuss legal issues and or topics.
Reviews work of Contract Administrators for quality, correctness and policy, procedural compliance and relevant law.
Plans contract activities, including post-award schedules.
Recommends new and revised policies and procedures.
Participates in selection, training and evaluation of personnel.
Advises appropriate Manager on contractual matters and is the principal advisor at the Project level with regard to the strategy for, and the conduct and recording of contract modification/change negotiations, claims avoidance and conflict management.
Assists in presentations to senior management.
Performs Contract Administration duties as required and participates in the post-ward evaluation/negotiations. Process.
Serves as Coordinator of the Change Evaluation Committee.
Serves as Acting Manager, Contracting Section as required.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director Construction Department and Construction Project Support Section Manager
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Science, or J.D. in Legal from with five (5) years' experience in contract award, negotiation and administration,
Candidate should have knowledge and experience in standard forms of contract (FIDIC/JCT).
Candidate must have worked in similar role during the past 3 years.
Fluent in English (writing, reading and speaking).
Must be computer literate and skilled in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and other analytical software tools
