As an Advanced Embedded Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced embedded software solutions for our Industrial Automation business. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging embedded software applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products. Your expertise in embedded software development and problem-solving will contribute to the continuous improvement of our software engineering practices.
You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Fort Washington, PA location on a hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of experience in full life cycle software development using C/C++
3+ years working with embedded systems including micro controller integration
WE VALUE
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Understanding various software development lifecycle
Familiarity with Agile or SCRUM development process.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP and security
Familiarity with functional safety life cycle and certification
Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices

Effective communicator
Wide degree of creativity and latitude
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
