The Role:
We are looking for a Special Project Service Manager to join our organization. Responsibilities Include, but not limited to the following:
- Assist the sales team to properly size and quote all large WT/SCR and Complex, multi boiler projects, and all bid spec projects.
- Work with Operations to ensure the equipment leaves as required for the project
- After Boiler has arrived at customer site - Reach out to customer to determine estimated date for startup and tentatively schedule a tech. Once start-up is confirmed, review the pre-startup check list to ensure customer is truly ready for the tech. If so, dispatch tech, ensure WO is in the system, and PO written if outsourcing.
- Follow up with customer to ensure they are satisfied with the work and pass customer back off to Sales.
Project Team Manager Responsibilities Include, but not limited to the following:
- Assist sales in the project proposal to ensure all materials and labor is properly quoted.
- Reach out to the customer and discuss the project, timeline, and process, once the job is won
- Order materials through the purchasing request system in NetSuite/Wynne
- Verify materials Match BOM and ensure all materials meet quality standards
- Schedule manpower through the appropriate CSM
- Periodic check in on long term jobs to ensure work being done meets our standards and customer is satisfied with the job
- Manage change orders for all fixed price jobs. There needs to be written documentation for change orders.
- Complete Final Walk through to ensure job was completed properly and to our standards
- Compile information required to invoice the job through the CSM
- Follow up with customer to ensure they are satisfied with the work and pass customer back off to Sales.
Project Team Manager Responsibilities Include, but not limited to the following:
- Create a sales request tracking database for all sales engineering requests.
- Provide timely answers to all sales technical questions in regards to rental projects.
- Identify trends in the requests to better prepare product specification sheets, in conjunction with our Product Manager.
- Attend pre-job walks as required
- Suggest improvements and design changes that might benefit the company or customer experience.
- Minimum of 10+ Years of successfull management of high-performing teams
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of proven success in rental and sales of commercial boilers and/or similar
- Minimum of 5 -10 years of proven success in employee development
- Experience managing multiple projects, objectives, and deadlines, simultaneously
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar
