The Opportunity:

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will operate and maintain heavy equipment on solar projects while ensuring safety and efficiency. You'll also take on leadership and training responsibilities for solar tasks. Safety is always a priority, so adherence to all safety regulations and procedures is essential.The base hourly compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $28.00.

What You'll Do:

Operate equipment like Forklifts/Telehandlers and Bobcats/Skid-steers.
Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment.
Follow safety regulations and work plans.
Detect and report any machine malfunctions.
Maintain cleanliness and order in your assigned area.
Work effectively with a diverse team and build strong relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of related equipment operating experience.
Equipment certifications as required.
Current driver's license with proper class and endorsements as required.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the job.
Familiarity with safety rules, operating instructions, and load charts.
