The following position is to join RTX and the Global Communications team:
Manager, Integrated Communications
RTX Communications is seeking an outstanding candidate to develop and deliver capability-based marketing campaigns and communications strategies and content to support the business and growth goals of the portfolio. As a member of the Communications team, you will work with company leaders to help drive business results by providing strategic, world-class communications in support of company priorities.
What You Will Do
- Leads development of and maintains communications deliverables (talking points, key messages, prep packages, posts, featured content; speeches, news releases, holding statements, presentations, etc.) in partnership with centers of expertise (COEs) in support of communications strategies.
- Collaborate across RTX global communications COEs including brand and marketing, channels and content, business communications, employee engagement, public relations and government affairs, to develop campaigns that contribute to business objectives.
- Leverage data and industry benchmarking to track, advance and continuously improve business campaign(s).
- Partners with COEs to develop microtargeting profiles and strategies for key audiences
- Works with team to identify and prepare presidents/leads for external speaking opportunities.
- Plans, attends and leverages industry tradeshows and events to deliver results in support of business objectives and as part of campaigns – including media, social media, customer testimonials and meetings with communications and business counterparts to build and advance relationships.
- Ensure all communications projects are clearly identified, align with strategic goals, thoughtfully planned to meet desired outcomes and executed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Previous experience delivering data-driven outcomes using traditional and non-traditional communication platforms, including print, electronic, social media, video and industry events.
- Previous project management experience.
- Previous experience using strategies to solve problems.
- Previous experience delivering excellent written, oral and e-communication skills, specifically in a virtual environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications That We Prefer
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry.
- Previous experience collaborating with functional team members and diverse business stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities on tight deadlines.
Location
- While this role is eligible for remote work, there is a preference for the candidate to work local to or hybrid from a main Communications hub: Charlotte, NC, Cedar Rapids, IA, Farmington, CT.
