General Ledger Accountant - Military Veterans

AppleOne is proud to present:
We’re looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for reconciling all general ledger accounts and creating monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of accrual accounting and fund basis accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
Reconcile Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and bank accounts
Post journal entries and create consolidated financial statements
Support Association Managers and interact with Board of Directors as needed
Assist with annual audits and other accounting-related projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, specifically accrual and fund accounting
Proficient in accounting software and data entry
Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills
