Job Opportunity: Helpdesk Specialist
Location: Columbia, SC (29210- onsite)
Pay: $18-$19/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(One weekend per month: Saturday/Sunday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM)

Are you tech-savvy with exceptional customer service skills? Join our Service Desk team and help support up to 50,000 customers! We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Specialist to provide Tier 1 technical support and contribute to our goal of one-call resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver world-class customer service through various channels, including phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions.
-Provide Tier 1 incident management by troubleshooting hardware, software, application, and network connectivity issues.
-Handle password resets, user ID inquiries, and other technical issues, resolving them efficiently.
-Accurately document all incident and request interactions using appropriate tools.
-Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2 when necessary while striving to minimize escalations.
-Stay current on enterprise services, tools, and procedures by using internal knowledge bases and other resources.
-Contribute to updating and maintaining internal and external procedural documentation.

What We’re Looking For:
Education/Certifications: A degree in Computer Science or a related field OR an A+ certification (preferred but not required).

Experience:
-Previous experience in IT support or call center roles.
-Familiarity with working in a ticketing system and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
-Background in technical customer service roles Skills:
-Strong troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and network connectivity.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage and document multiple tasks and resolve issues effectively.
