Pay: $25-$35/hr ($50k-$70k/yr)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate and replenish products at competitive market prices.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to avoid stock outs and overstocking.
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability and reliability,
• Assist in establishing pricing guidelines and maintaining sales and gross profit targets.
• Understand customer needs and work closely with suppliers to source products in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with vendors and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
• Serve as the point of contact for assigned product lines, coordinating with the sales team, warehouse, and vendors to resolve product quality issues and manage returns.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years of relevant buying experience, preferably in the food industry, ideally within supermarket chains.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with an attention to details and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, or Korean is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office and ERP software (Sage, SAP, NetSuite etc).
