Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) and Shock Junior Engineer (Hybrid) - Military Veterans

Develop/track Shock Deficiency Correction Plans (SDCP)/Vibration/ Electromagnetic Reports for US Navy electronic communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Access and utilize eShock to submit SDCP's, SQAFs, and extension request.
- Track shock status of communication equipment within a database.
- Develop/review Shock/Vibration/ENI test plans/test results.
- Witness onsite at various locations Shock/Vibe/EMI testing for ISEA approval.
- Act as liaison between the IC Voice In Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) and Shock / Vibe/ ENI Technical Warrant Holders and Original Equipment Manufacturers
- Provide periodic status reports containing Shock/Vibe/EMI qualifications
- Maintain a database accessible by the IPT with all environmental testing
- Develop and maintain EQT POAMS
- Develop and submit waivers/RFVs (request for variances)/DFS (departure from spec) to Technical Warrant Holders.
- Position is Hybrid.
Qualifications
- BS in an Electrical/Electronic program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Microsoft Project/Word/Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Secret Clearance or an ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Navy experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn new programs/systems and establish base line databases
This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Suffolk, VA.
