Who We Are

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls, is currently seeking a Logistics Management Analyst candidate to work as a dispatcher supporting the Naval Expeditionary Logistics Support Command (NAVELSG) at Cheatham Annex in Williamsburg, VA. The selected candidate will perform duties as a dispatcher for NAVELSG's Table of Allowance (TOA) Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE). The dispatcher will work with the multiple Navy Reserve Battalions in supporting Logistics Request (LOGREQs)for CESE and dispatching the requested TOA for exercise support. These tasks will be a collaborated effort with the active-duty Battalion NCHB-1 at Cheatham Annex.
What You Will Do
- Control the efficient flow of vehicles in and out of the yard.
- Maintain information between point of origin through equipment repair parts placement in order to meet customer requirements.
- Dispatch to ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing constraints in order to meet Active Duty and Reserve personnel requirements.
- Work to ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard Dispatch processes, such as repair parts systems, vehicle data tracking systems.
- Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
- Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
- Manage equipment resources efficiently within the general policies and directives of the US Navy and according to local policies as directed by the Equipment Officer.
What You Must Have
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Candidate must have previous experience in supporting a dispatch center either Navy (CM, EO) or Army (91B, 91H or 91L) or equivalent.
- Candidate must have logistics experience supporting in service Navy ships or new construction programs.
- Candidate must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with the Navy.
- Candidate must be able to convey information and instructions in a concise and understandable manner.
- Candidate must be able to exercise good judgement, make decisions quickly, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Candidate must possess administrative, clerical, and record keeping abilities
Bonus Points For Having!
- Experience dispatching equipment and controlling the day‐to‐day equipment assignments for CESE usage.
- Have a thorough knowledge of CESE equipment sizes, types, uses, and limitations and utilize the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) to maintain inventory and location accuracy.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment.
