Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be a core participant for our network infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:
Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
Monitor network performance and ensure integrity
Resolve escalated support issues by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
Leverage and design automated tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Work with team members on technical issues
Communicate with end users/peers across the globe to help resolve issues
Maintain and update complete technical documentation
Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
5+ Years Industry-related experience as a Network Engineer designing and deploying functional networks
Professional certification (e.g. CCNA)
Solid understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS, Juniper JUNOS)
Solid background in network administration and architecture
Azure and AWS Cloud networking knowledge and experience
Understanding of communication internet protocols and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF) (emphasis on BGP)
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Knowledge and application of coding languages for scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Ansible)
Familiarity with DevOps philosophies, practices, and tools
Knowledge of monitoring protocols (e.g. SNMP, NetFlow/IPFIX)
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. Logic Monitor)
Sharp troubleshooting skills
Organizational skills

Nautobot familiarity and use with automation
