Post Doctoral Associate (PI: Dr. Edwin Rosado-Olivieri) - Military Veterans

at HERC- Upper MidWest

The Rosado-Olivieri Laboratory of the Department of Molecular Pathobiology of New York University College of Dentistry seeks to recruit a postdoctoral research scientist with expertise in stem cell and developmental biology, cell biology and/or tissue engineering. Applications from candidates with interests in in the development of human organoid-based technologies for the study of molecular and cellular mechanisms directing human organogenesis, tissue morphogenesis and disease, as well as in the integration of bioengineering and quantitative technologies are particularly welcome.

What we do: The Rosado-Olivieri Laboratory focuses on the development and deployment of high-throughput and standardized stem cell-based models to unveil the cellular and molecular underpinnings of human organogenesis and tissue morphogenesis, and how they go awry in disease. Our approach combines the power of pluripotent stem cells to model human development in vitro and bioengineering approaches to induce multi-cellular self-organization of tissues to reconstitute human organogenesis at scale.

The position offers competitive salary and exposure to a rich scientific environment at NYU and the New York City area and assistance in finding postdoctoral housing.

In compliance with NYC?s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,000.00-$62,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grand funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
