The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience, Energy, and Sustainability (SHORES)seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate to work on a broader field of geotechnical engineering. Required Qualifications: A successful applicant must have a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field with a focuson one or more of the following: ? Artificial intelligence applications in geotechnical engineering ? Bioremediation and geoenvironmental engineering ? Geohazards risk assessment and management via remote sensing ? Energy geotechnics ? Advanced experimental testing and field instrumentation Research Project: The successful applicant will lead a fascinating project aimed at enhancing the state in designing and managing efficient and environment-friendly infrastructure and energy systems. The Post-DoctoralAssociate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of researchers, graduate studentsand undergraduate students. The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to continuously documentresearch progress in the form of scientific publications to be submitted to reputable journals.
