The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience, Energy, and Sustainability (SHORES) seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate to work on a broader field of geotechnical engineering.
Required Qualifications:
A successful applicant must have a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on one or more of the following:
? Artificial intelligence applications in geotechnical engineering
? Bioremediation and geoenvironmental engineering
? Geohazards risk assessment and management via remote sensing
? Energy geotechnics
? Advanced experimental testing and field instrumentation
Research Project:
The successful applicant will lead a fascinating project aimed at enhancing the state in designing and managing efficient and environment-friendly infrastructure and energy systems. The Post-Doctoral Associate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of researchers, graduate students and undergraduate students. The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to continuously document research progress in the form of scientific publications to be submitted to reputable journals.
