Marine Operations Manager | San Jose State University - Military Veterans

Under general supervision from Moss Landing Marine Labs (MLML) Executive Director, responsible for overall management of the Marine Operations Department (MOD), including operation of research vessels, boats; maintenance of vessels, boats, facilities, instrumentation and equipment; budget preparation and oversight of approved budget, proposal writing, contracting, scheduling; adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance. The Marine Operations Manager supervises personnel in the MOD and manages the day-to-day operations of the MOD including support facilities, equipment, administration, technicians, boat crew, and student assistants.
