Department: Patient Transportation Location: St. Mary's/St. Francis (committing to both locations optional) Duration: This will be 3 months with possibility for extension. Key Responsibilities: Patient Transportation : Transport patients using wheelchairs or gurneys in a timely and courteous manner. Assist with transfers between beds, chairs, and gurneys as needed. Aid patients with discharge procedures, including helping them into vehicles. Customer Service : Maintain professionalism and a positive demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and staff. Build and sustain respectful and trusting relationships with a diverse group of people. Safety and Compliance : Ensure patient safety during transport. Adhere to body mechanics and ergonomic practices. Follow hospital safety guidelines and report hazards or incidents. Team Collaboration : Promote teamwork and efficiency through effective communication. Participate in hospital committees and other activities as required. Administrative and Miscellaneous : Wear a name badge at all times. Use communication devices professionally and confidentially.
