About the Role:

Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Director - Constructability to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of construction methodologies, constructability analysis, and value engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in optimizing project designs and improving construction efficiency on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Constructability Review:

    • Lead the constructability review process for all engineering designs, identifying potential construction challenges and proposing innovative solutions.

    • Collaborate with design teams to optimize designs for constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Value Engineering:

    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement through value engineering workshops and analysis.

    • Develop and implement value engineering strategies to optimize project outcomes.

  • Construction Methodology Development:

    • Develop and implement innovative construction methodologies and techniques to improve efficiency and safety.

    • Identify and adopt best practices from industry standards and lessons learned from past projects.

  • Coordination with Construction Teams:

    • Collaborate closely with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of design and construction activities.

    • Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams to address challenges and optimize construction processes.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess construction risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor their effectiveness.

    • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of constructability engineers and specialists.

    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the constructability team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in construction and engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Proven track record in implementing constructability reviews and value engineering programs.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, equipment, and materials.

  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and risk management principles.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
