Senior Engineering Manager - Wet Utilities

About the Role:

Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager - Wet Utilities to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of complex wet utility systems, including water supply, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects and delivering innovative, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:

    • Provide technical leadership and oversight for all wet utility engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

    • Lead the development of innovative wet utility solutions, considering factors such as water conservation, energy efficiency, and resilience.

    • Oversee the design, review, and approval of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.

  • Project Management:

    • Manage the wet utilities engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.

    • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of wet utility systems.

    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

    • Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.

    • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the wet utilities engineering team.

  • Client Relations:

    • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

    • Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 22 years of experience in wet utilities engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulations, including AWWA, ASCE, and local codes.

  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software and other advanced engineering tools.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
