Job Description: The Enrollment Management Assistant works within the Enrollment Management Office and with other departments to assist students in completing the HCC student enrollment process. Duties include assisting with outreach activities aimed at prospective and current students; providing practical assistance to students to complete the enrollment process; responding to requests for information and providing explanations of the College's procedures and policies to students and parents; performing data entry and extraction in the College's student information database; maintaining electronic and hard-copy files; assisting in the Test Center coverage and other enrollment management units as needed; and performing other duties as assigned by supervisor. As a condition of employment, this position requires participation in a Maryland State Retirement System plan. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position Required Education: A minimum of an associate's degree Required Experience: One year of experience in a position that involves customer service and data management Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to navigate information systems Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment, including programs in Microsoft Office Suite Strong customer service skills Strong communication skills.
