Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for overseeing financial operations, forecasting, pricing, and finance functions for our Innovation & Growth function. This role leads a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering accurate financial insights, strategic forecasts, and operational efficiency. As the primary liaison with corporate finance and accounting, the Director Finance ensures seamless communication and alignment across departments. Essential Functions· Oversee all financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for legacy businesses and innovative initiatives.
· Provide strategic financial insights to guide decision-making and business growth.
· Lead and develop a high-performing team in finance, accounting, and account administration.
· Foster collaboration and accountability across the team to achieve departmental goals.
· Develop and implement financial and pricing strategies for legacy and emerging businesses.
· Lead the integration of financial systems and processes during mergers, acquisitions, or expansion into new markets.
· Analyze market trends and financial data to support innovation-driven ventures.
· Serve as the primary point of contact with corporate finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment on reporting, compliance, and strategy.
· Coordinate with corporate stakeholders to meet organizational financial objectives.
· Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies in financial operations and account administration.
· Identify financial risks related to currency fluctuations, commodity pricing, supply chain disruption, and other external factors, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
· Evaluate and implement financial software and ERP systems to ensure efficiency, scalability, and data accuracy across multiple locations.
· Manage and lead financial planning for the organization including budgeting, forecasting, etc.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial health and identify opportunities for optimization.
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
· Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to executive leadership.
· Other duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
· Strong expertise in financial forecasting, modeling, and pricing strategies.
· Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage and lead a team to achieve outlined goals.
· Strong presentation, time management, and organizational skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Experience of 10+ years with a detailed understanding of food manufacturing/distribution and labor/cost productivity analysis
· Must have direct experience working in both accounting and financial planning & analysis functions
· Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a MBA and/or CPA preferred.
· Experience managing people
