JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of CADR, the Assistant Director of CADR provides support for students with a variety of identified disabilities. The Assistant Director is responsible for creating and promoting an accessible and inclusive campus learning environment. In addition, the Assistant Director will oversee responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following: review of diagnostic documentation; determination of appropriate and reasonable academic accommodations for students with diagnosed disabilities; assisting Director of CADR in determining appropriate and reasonable housing accommodations for students with diagnosed disabilities; supervision of the ADHD Coach(es), as well as any other in office Graduate Assistants; promotion of disability awareness through campus activities and events; development of peer-to-peer initiatives, limited oversight of testing center operations, and coordinates departmental outreach and support for students departing on and arriving back from leaves of absences, in collaboration with campus partner offices to further student retention.
