Branch Manager - Military Veterans

This position is responsible for the coordination of all activities at their store and maintains cooperation with all departments to best serve every need of the customer.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for all aspects of the store operations: Sales, Service, Rental, and Parts.
- Provide counsel and training for Managers to build their leadership and motivational skills in their daily activities.
- Emphasize customer satisfaction is always #1 priority with all employees.
- Perform Job Description Reviews and Performance Evaluations on an annual basis.
- Build teamwork to promote Dealership image to Employees, Customers, and the community.
- Ensure a clean, healthy and safe work environment for employees daily.
- Manage and control inventory levels to maximize assets. Review inventory levels, sales, and orders monthly with Department Managers to ensure optimum levels.
- Manage and control personnel levels to maximize profitability. Review personnel levels quarterly with Department Managers to assure the business is properly staffed for efficient, capable, and quality operation.
- Manage and control all credit policies to minimize risk.
- Develop and coordinate sales activities with Department Managers to maximize inventory turnover and return on assets.
- Coordinate parts, service, and whole goods specials throughout the year to maintain profitable activity and inventory turnover.
- Develop Annual Business Plan and Budget with input from Department Managers.
- Compare Operating Statement monthly results to Business Plan and Budget with Department Managers and adjust where appropriate.
- Assist in the collection of monies due on sales or rentals, as needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent College preferred.
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record may need CDL.
- Self-motivated.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong analytical and math skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years previous Construction management experience.
- Minimum 10 years Construction sales or industry related experience.
- Professional appearance.

Physical Effort: Store Managers must be able to operate a motor vehicle day or night. They must also be able to demonstrate equipment safety practices. Store Managers must finally be able to move over and under Construction equipment when necessary.
Working Conditions: Store Managers will work both indoors and outdoors as necessary. They will frequently be around hazards from electrical, mechanical, and power equipment. There is occasionally extreme weather conditions as well.
Travel: As necessary.
