The NYU Tandon School of Engineering is committed to excellence, inclusion, and diversity in STEM research. In this framework, we invite scholars passionate about science, inclusivity, and driven to make the world a better place to apply for the prestigious Tandon Faculty First Look Fellowship program. The candidates should be nearing completion of their PhD or be in a post-doctoral position. Fellows will have the opportunity to present and receive feedback on their ongoing research, engage with NYU faculty from a range of engineering disciplines, and participate in workshops designed to help them advance their careers. Fellows will arrive on campus to attend a dinner with the faculty on Thursday, March 30, 2023. The Tandon Faculty First Look Fellowship program will be held in-person on Friday, March 31, 2023, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM on the campus of NYU Tandon School of Engineering, 6 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201, and all travel expenses will be covered. Eligible participants include doctoral degree candidates and post-doctoral fellows working in fields represented by NYU Tandon?s faculty, departments, and research centers. Women and applicants of African-American, Latinx, American Indian, or Alaskan Native descent, and people with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply.
