This position will require the candidate to report and work from the office five days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

The Media Account Salesperson will be responsible for the growth of McLane's Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising program. The position will sell advertising mediums to thirds parties creating long-term relationships and campaigns. Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
- Manage and form relationships with clients directly and/or through ad agencies.
- Discover potential business clients and develop existing customers to expand the business.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of customer and product offerings.
- Oversee production of active campaigns.
- Maintain client profiles in customer management system (CMS).
- Create sales plans and forecasts for the McLane Media Team.
- Prepare written reports, proposals and presentations.
- Create marketing materials for the McLane OOH advertising program.
- Stay knowledgeable on the current competitive environment - attend trade shows/conferences, research competitors pricing, etc.
MINIMUM QULIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in OOH advertising or marketing preferred.
- Possess abilities that include both verbal and written communication skills, a professional attitude and appearance, organization skills, strong self-confidence, multi-task-oriented, decision-making skills and the ability to plan for success.
- Ability to handle multiple customers, production requirements, and make cold calls.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint PC programs.
- Ability to work with effectively with many different reporting level groups.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, intra-company memos and outside correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and teammates.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Possess strong analytical and communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Possess an energetic and outgoing demeanor.
- Reliable transportation is required.
