Within BioTDR, our computational science team is dedicated to applying cutting-edge computational strategies to develop next-generation biologics that address unmet medical needs. By integrating bioinformatics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and physics-based modeling, we innovate in the discovery process, tackling complex challenges and advancing solutions for otherwise intractable targets.
We are seeking a highly skilled next-generation sequencing (NGS) data scientist and bioinformatician to join our bioinformatics core function and accelerate the discovery of novel biologics. This role requires deep expertise in NGS data analysis. Additionally, the candidate should be experienced in extracting, analyzing, and extrapolating information from small to large datasets, as well as in building new sequence pools based on project needs and insights gained. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, flexible, quickly assimilate new information, and team goal oriented.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support Lilly research teams and projects with NGS data analysis including antibodies, proteins, single-cell RNA, peptides, and beyond. Deliver processed results with good quality in a timely manner.
- Develop new workflows for different types of sequencing results such as bulk NGS, 10x Genomics, PacBio and Nanopore, based on project needs.
- Collaborate with members from the computational science team and technology team to design and deliver customized antibody/VHH/mini-protein libraries.
- Create data analysis and visualization methods to interpretate results, inspire and enable data-driven AI/ML based drug discovery.
- Work with Lilly data capture team members, properly manage raw and processed data in efficient and convenient ways.
- Bring up new ideas to best utilize internal and public sequence database for new applications.
Basic Qualifications:
