Test and Evaluation Support Engineer, Senior - Military Veterans

Torch Technologies is seeking a Test and Evaluation Senior located at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL, within the Agile Support Office is working to identify and document the technical/operational baseline for all BES programs and standardize and optimize how BES programs establish and use technical environments and supporting infrastructures to assist program teams in delivering high-confidence programs. To accomplish this task, the Agile Support Office will: (1) partner with functional sponsors, program teams and infrastructure providers to effectively analyze and deliver application environment hosting options and supporting services to meet requirements driven by the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI), and the AF Common Computing Environment (AF CCE) standards, and ultimately the needs of the warfighter; (2) Foster reuse and interoperability of technical infrastructures among applications with common infrastructure and application support service's needs; and (3) partner with functional sponsors, program teams and infrastructure providers to effectively deliver lifecycle management tools environments and supporting services to meet program office and developmental team needs.
The Agile Support Office is working to improve capability delivery efficiency and effectiveness across the BES acquisition, operations, and service missions through implementation of standard, repeatable processes. The Agile Support Office accomplishes this mission by managing the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) effort for the BES directorate and providing a centralized delivery point for all organizational processes called the BES Process Directory (BPD).
Responsibilities:
This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in
Providing Test and Evaluation (T&E) support for product lines, capability delivery teams, and development and delivery of BES Test Services. These shall be accomplished in accordance with DoD, AF, AFMC, AFLCMC, BES, product line, and/or capability delivery team, Acquisition and T&E policy, guidance processes and procedures, and standard tools and services. Key policy and guidance include, but is not limited to, AFI 99-103, Capabilities Based Test and Evaluation and related policy and guidance. To properly scale the BAT, GBQA needs to increase its ability to complete automated testing activities for: 1) New capabilities (smoke, integration, functional, end-to-end), 2) Existing capabilities (regression), 3) Performance (speed, responsiveness, stability), 4) Load (normal vs intense), 5) Penetration / Cybersecurity. Each release of the BAT will require manual and automated test cases that can be executed and reported in a repeatable pattern for critical areas.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
OR, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective
technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications.
eight of which must be in the DoD
Must hold active DoD Security Clearance (Secret)
CompTIA security+ CE
Experience in the AWS and/or Azure GovCloud (specifically CloudOne)
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience creating automated test cases/scripts.
•Experience with Zephyr, JMeter, Selenium, and Octane.
•Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, e.g. Kanban
