Summary of Role:
This position’s primary responsibility is to support the NFP BOLI Sales Support team who provide modeling of benefit and bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) proposals. Providing assistance in the preparation, design, review and analysis of proposed plan designs, and project management to satisfy required scope of work and deadlines. This role involves collaborating with other team members and client relationship managers to ensure plan accuracy, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of the Banking Practice. NFP encourages continuous learning and offers opportunities for certification and skill development. Training programs include advanced life insurance training and project management best practices.
This is a support role with heavy administrator, data analysis and project coordination deliverables for the Sales Team. Use your BOLI, COLI, or Life Insurance experience in this role to handle the administration of bank-owned life insurance programs.
This is a full-time position working either hybrid from our Franklin, TN office or working remotely. You must maintain an uninterrupted and confidential workspace when working remotely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Critical Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required and an understanding of financial modeling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams (ability to organize and host calls), and Salesforce-required; similar CRM experience considered.
- Life insurance license required or able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Demonstrated experience in effective project organization and running data analysis.
- Stellar communication and organizational skills.

Major Areas of Accountability:
Knowledge of Plan Design Concepts:
- In-depth understanding of benefit plan design and BOLI products, including strategies for sales and funding.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams and Client Relationship Managers to ensure accurate and compliant plan design.
Review/Quality Control:
- Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail in the finalization of proposals. Collaborate with team members to cross-check data and plan design integrity
Education/Credentials/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance preferred. Equivalent work experience in banking, insurance, or nonqualified benefit plans may substitute for degree. HS Diploma or equivalent is required
- Life and health license or able to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Three to five years' experience in a similar occupation is preferred; any experience with BOLI or nonqualified benefit plans is a significant plus
