2025 - 2026 Open Rank Clinical Professor (non tenure-track); Technology, Operations, and Statistics (Technology Group) - Military Veterans

The Department of Technology, Operations and Statistics invites applications for a full-time non- tenure track, clinical faculty appointment (at the assistant, associate, or full levels) in the area of Data Science and Business Analytics starting in September 2025.

In compliance with NYC?s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary ranges for this position are:

Clinical Assistant Professor $125,000-$185,000

Clinical Associate Professor $135,000-$205,000

Clinical Professor $140,000-$230,000

This pay range represents base pay only (for 12 months) and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate?s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

A candidate for a full-time clinical appointment must present evidence of an outstanding teaching career in academia or a distinguished career as a practitioner. Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Master?s degree, have strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities, and show strong pedagogical skills including classroom performance, curriculum development, and teaching innovation in the areas related to Data Science and Analytics. The candidate will be expected to teach various technology-related courses, such as Python Programming, Databases, Business Analytics and Machine Learning, AI, and other technical courses, at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
