Cybersecurity Advisor - Military Veterans

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Cybersecurity Advisor to be part of our dynamic team in supporting a federal agency onsite in Suitland MD. The Cybersecurity Advisor will assist with both international and domestic cyber security compliance for a long-term federal program.
Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Advisor:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect organizational assets and data.
- Engage with senior leadership to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications for the Cybersecurity Advisor:
- 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security focused in critical infrastructure sectors.
- 3+ years of management experience leading a team of Cyber Security professionals
- Experience with European Union (EU) Cyber Security policies
- Experience in Cyber Security governance and change management.
- Certifications: CISSP, GSEC, CRISC, GREM, GNFA, CCNA, CISM, or GSEC.
Compensation for Cyber Security Advisor
• Salary Range: $135,000 to $150,000 per year (Flexible based on experience)
