Structural Inspector

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to perform difficult and sometimes complex inspection tasks, Inspect various facets of work on the jobsite and perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Interfaces with client and contractor’s staff to determine and verify project requirements.
Prepares inspection reports and site records.
Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques and concrete coring.
Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a Civil Engineering or construction related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in inspection of civil construction works.
Must be familiar with Tunnel works, different shoring systems and underground structures
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Proficiency with basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software.
Marine project work experience is preferable.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Recent experience in Infrastructure and Tunnel works in UAE will be added advantage.
