About the Position: The Administrative Assistant primarily responsibilities will be supporting events, procurement and meetings for the Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship and the Master's in Real Estate Development Program. Responsibilities: Program Administration Assists the respective Director and Assistant Director of the MRED program and CREE with operational support including: Logistics; Assisting drop-in students at the front desk; Inventory management; Alumni support; Preparing program materials and website; Faculty support; and Attending recruitment events in support of graduate enrollment and admissions. Procurement Manages the MRED program and CREE vendors including: Vendor selection; Ordering office supplies and promotional items; and Utilizes the eVA system, Travel Request System, Catering System and other procurement systems to process purchases for programs. Event Planning and Support Provides event planning for MRED program and CREE events including: Student events; Alumni events; Industry outreach events and conferences; CREE advisory board events; Ensure all events are properly planned, scheduled and communicated; and Utilize the 25Live system. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information; Proficiency in managing and creating content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn; Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of all applications in Microsoft Office, electronic calendaring, and e-mail; and Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in office management and administration; Demonstrated significant office management experience; and Ability and willingness to be flexible with varied work assignments.
