Requisition Number: 2023-400 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Biochem and Molecular Biology 50000510 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: A postdoctoral position currently available in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center focused on novel combination therapy and biomarkers for glioblastoma (brain cancer). The potential candidate is expected to perform various cell and molecular biology techniques, PBMC and exosome isolation from human serum, bioinformatics, in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate the combination drug therapy in glioblastoma and the development of biomarkers for pseudoprogression. He/she will be also involved in animal genotyping. Required Qualifications: PhD in scientific field Supplemental Qualifications: Extensive experience in cell culture, 3D culture, drug screening, and fluorescent microscopy. A prior experience in molecular and cancer biology. A candidate should have publications as the first author in peer-reviewed journals. At least 2-3 years of research experience. Strong background in cancer biology and therapeutic targeting is required. Further, knowledge in ATAC -sequencing, RNA -sequencing, pathological techniques, and in-vivo preclinical research experience is desirable. Salary Range: Salary Commensurate with Experience
