Position Number: 010444 Department: Business Services (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Community & Business Partnership Management: Help build and maintain relationships with community organizations and business partners. Develop partnerships that enhance brand visibility and drive business growth. Art & Design Instruction: Provide guidance and instruction in art and design principles to team members. Ensure continuous development and improvement of design skills within the team. Audience & Community Needs: Conduct market research to understand audience and community needs. Tailor marketing strategies to meet these needs and drive engagement. Licensing & Brand Management: Manage and oversee brand licensing agreements to ensure compliance and brand consistency. Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines. Team Leadership: Assist in managing and mentoring a team of Brand Ambassadors/students Foster a collaborative and creative work environment. Licensing Development: Support the development and execution of business strategies to achieve licensing objectives. Assist in managing key licensing areas, ensuring profitability and sustainability. Marketing Experience: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to support licensing efforts and increase brand visibility. Support marketing campaigns and initiatives across various channels. Graphic Design Work: Collaborate with University Communications and Business Services Marketing to create visual content, including graphics, logos, and promotional materials to support licensing and marketing initiatives. Collaborate with various campus design teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand designs. UX/UI Design & Website Management: Assist in designing and maintaining the university's licensing website, ensuring a seamless user experience. Implement UX/UI best practices to enhance website usability and engagement. Creative Design Experience: Support the creative team in conceptualizing and executing innovative marketing campaigns. Ensure all creative work aligns with the University's brand identity and strategic goals. Social Media: Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance online presence and engagement. Work with Business Services Marketing to manage social media accounts and create compelling content to engage with the audience. Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Monitor and report on budget performance and make adjustments as needed. Minimum Experience / Education: Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four year college or university and at least three years of program associate experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Preferred Education Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience and proven budget management skills. Experience in UX/UI design and website management. Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in design software. Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite. Proven experience in marketing, Licensing & Brand management, and creative direction. Experience in program marketing (recruitment is a plus) Proficiency in social media management and strategy development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal. Ability to build and maintain community and business partnerships. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Experience in business ownership is a plus. Strong understanding of audience and community needs. Strong attention to details.
