About the Role: As Chief Engineer you will lead our ambitious engineering TEAM to oversee the completion of various projects within our hotel while providing exceptional customer service. You will manage operations, maintenance and repair of our property, machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep for our hotel, oversee all maintenance projects and ensure preventative maintenance is completed timely and accurately. The Chief Engineer directs all other maintenance staff and assigns responsibilities when needed. This position works closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure a smooth operation.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 4 years of Engineering Management experience in a luxury brand hotel or similar environment is ideal
  • Marriott experience is beneficial
  • Bilingual speaking is a plus
  • Government required licenses, certificates or permits is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelors Degree or Technical School experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to repair and maintain various pieces of building and grounds equipment ability to train others in the same repairing
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment and various tools
  • Have excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently

The salary for this position is $95,000.
