Senior Manager, Fraud Product Management - Military Veterans

Leads a team responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap for a digital product or products with cross-divisional impact, demonstrating a deep understanding of the digital product(s) and associated business areas. Digital products often have enterprise-wide implications.

Global Risk and Security (GR&S) at Vanguard enables business strategy, protects client and Vanguard interests (e.g., assets and data), and stewards a strong risk culture. Within GR&S, the Enterprise Security and Fraud (ES&F) sub-division is responsible for the global protection of Vanguard crew, property, data, and client assets. We are the trusted advisors that protect the pride of Vanguard with state-of-the-art security and fraud capabilities. Responsibilities:

  • Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew. Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Oversee product management activities for multiple products, or one strategic product, with cross-divisional impact.
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
  • Provide guidance and coach product teams towards best practices and learnings. Oversee product teams' support of the messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Facilitate strong business support through working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions/impacts and client propositions. Drive connection across all appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning, development and implementation of new products with cross-divisional impact. Define and analyze markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
  • Influence and employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participate in and influence ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years innovation strategy and execution experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Product management experience in an agile environment required.
  • Formal people leadership managing product teams preferred.
