Inspector - Level 3 - FAA - Alt Shift 3*12 - Military Veterans

Provide Quality Control Inspection support for Honeywell Aero while partnering with manufacturing teams and leaders. You will ensure that quality in being maintained in all factors involved in production.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections
Monitor and verify quality
Recommend improvements
Conform to specifications
Record observations
Audit quality control programs
Develop specs and procedures
Improve quality practices
Inspect machined work pieces to insure conformance to specification
Read blueprints and engineering specification to obtain product information
Complete all necessary inspection forms and reports
Report unusual problems or conditions to colleagues and supervisor
Observe company safety rules and regulations

Shift available: Day shift (6:00 AM to 6:30 PM), Night Shift (6:30 PM to 6:00 AM) - 3 days per week for 12 hours each

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

36 months of previous experience as FAA designee or 36 months experience as a commercial/military inspector or 36 months experience as an FAA inspector.
18 months of repair and overhaul or line maintenance experience
Knowledgeable of mechanical and electronic components/assemblies.

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

WE VALUE

High School Degree
6 months of experience working within the PC holders quality
Working knowledge of MS Office
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
A positive attitude, high tolerance for job pressure, and the ability for working and communicating with persons of diverse personalities and backgrounds
Proactively and clearly communicate important, comprehensive, and specific information that others need
Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in quality control inspection field
Lean Six sigma knowledge and certification
SAP experience
Good analytical and creative problem-solving skill
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Ability to read technical data and specifications
