As a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. You will operate and maintain various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce precision parts. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of our production processes, contributing to the overall success of our business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate and maintain machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce precision parts
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role
WE VALUE
Technical certification or diploma in machining or a related field
Experience with CNC machining
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
