Manufacturing Engineer - Military Veterans

Our client, a leader in power management that provides energy-efficient solutions to help customers manage electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power, is looking for a manufacturing engineer. Key qualifications include 2 years of manufacturing experience supporting operations/production and 2 years of experience in Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma. A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, is required.

responsibilities:

You will be responsible for leading projects focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to boost manufacturing productivity. This includes training project owners in lean and statistical tools, evaluating solutions based on economic return and plant layout, and resolving manufacturing issues. You also support welding processes, recommend new equipment and technologies, and manage facility changes.

Your responsibilities include developing operational procedures, implementing cost-saving measures using lean principles, and leading product and process launches. Additionally, you handle process mapping, PFMEA analysis, and control plan documentation.
