The Lobby/Pool Attendant responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel; maintains cleanliness and order around the pool area. Provides and couteous service to guest.

Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
  • Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Clean/Buff floors daily according to hotel standards.
  • Shampoo carpets in the public areas according to hotel standards.
  • Shampoo furniture as needed according to hotel standards.
  • Clean Public restrooms and ensure maintenance on a regular basis/ as needed throughout the shift
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests fellow associates and self.
  • Handle items for 'Lost and Found' according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • At the end of the shift turn in all keys and assignment sheets.
  • Be familiar with Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules.
  • Have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures during the overnight shift.
  • Clean and dust floors daily according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
  • Maintain storage of hotel equipment in proper area.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Attend meetings as required by management.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.
  • Walk all assigned areas throughout shift; remove and replace dirty towels and service trays and glasses empty trash receptacles.
  • Set-up and/or breakdown Pool areas on a daily basis.
  • Remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
  • Clean all pool areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations.
  • Remove soiled terry and trash from the pool areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner and retrieve clean terry.
  • Stock pool linen and supply to ensure par inventories.
