Environmental and Health Specialist - Military Veterans

Immediate need fort Environmental Health and Safety Specialist!

Are you passionate about fostering safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace environments? We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to lead our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee EHS programs in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, permits, and sustainability initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and root cause analyses to enhance workplace safety. Manage workers’ compensation cases, including incident investigations and claims processing.
Create and deliver training materials to promote employee safety and environmental awareness.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental-related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in an FDA-regulated industry.
Familiarity with ESG reporting platforms preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and EHS laws.
Proven ability to design, develop, and implement effective EHS programs.
