The Alakaina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Project Engineer to support our government customer located in Washington, DC . DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES : Oversee and orchestrate advanced technology system design, development, integration, testing, training, deployment, and operation and/or maintenance efforts. Demonstrate the ability to be integral in all facets of a project’s life cycle Perform day-to-day management of assigned projects Leads teams of highly specialized technical professionals who are involved in analyzing, prototyping, designing, integrating, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information systems Demonstrates proven skills in highly technical areas Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned projects, including assessment of staff and expenditure of ODC’s Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION : Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or computer related technology Six (6) years of experience IT project experience with last three (3) years being in a senior level role IAM Level II, IAW AR 25-2 and DA Pam 25-2-6 at time of contract initiation / on-boarding. [These requirements may (but are not required to) be waived in writing by the COR upon receipt and review of the candidate’s individual resume. If waived, the individual will be required to operate at a level commensurate with the requirement above.] REQURED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Superior writing and oral communication skills Ability to independently prepare and analyze highly complex project schedules Ability to use spreadsheets and complex project management tools and systems to track deliverables, management information, and control the integrated master schedule DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Microsoft Project PMP REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE : U.
